Hello chocolatiers!

As we prep the fun for the 2022/2023 season, we wanted to take a second to talk chocolate! Our 2021/2022 season was an absolute success. As athletes started coming back to our live courses, we got a taste of what running together felt like again. In Chicago alone, we had 26,181 runners, making it the 3rd largest event post pandemic! Altogether, our race participants totaled 115,000 – for the whole country!

How much chocolate is that? We’re glad you asked. That’s 6,000 gallons of hot chocolate, 15 tons of fondue, and more than one million dippables! With all that chocolate, there is no question how sweet this run was!

Also, when everyone else was cozying up to their cocoa, we were busy building 4 new event sites, onboarding new and talented chocolatier employees, and establishing l7 new courses! We’d like to give a round of applause to all our employees and volunteers (more than 12,000 to be exact) for making last season such a scrumptious success!
